This article “Application for Lean Six Sigma to Reduce the Time Patients Wait” will attempt to bring together the scientific knowledge of Six Sigma to tackle health care issues. The principal point the article concentrates on is the issue of time wastage. The aim of the article is to present the issue of waste reduction and efficiency in the delivery of health services. Health departments spend resources to ensure high-quality services are provided to patients, certain factors like long wait times as well as patient satisfaction and the use of resources, are still a hindrance to the efficiency of health care (Al-Zuheri and co. 2021). Lean sigma is a method of improvement which improve the speed of service delivery and enhance the quality of service by reducing mistakes (Penix et al. 2019,). Numerous issues that could increase the length of wait time and enhance customer satisfaction are covered in the study. In turn, the data on the improvement comes from various research papers which the study relies on as references and points of reference. The principal method used in the report is a description analysis that takes knowledge from various previous studies on the quality of health and practice. The article analyzes the variations in the various health establishments around the world and makes use of various sources to compare and verify the accuracy.
