After I completed my master’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, I began working in Bio-Reference Laboratories, as a project manager for the Florida branch. When the new project initiated I was in charge of a team of ten individuals. The new project involved the gathering, evaluating and reporting the results of diagnostic tests. Decision-making is a key component of project management. an ability to lead by analyzing scenarios and decide on the most appropriate method of action in the course of the work. I used a conceptual method that allowed me to explore a variety of options and possibilities, while being intolerant of uncertainties. While it’s not the best choice in situations that require exact rapid decisions, this approach is ideal since it promotes creative thinking and teamwork, and allows for a wide range of thoughts…
