Rhetorical Reading

The first body paragraph should answer this question: What information does the title provide to help
the reader with understanding the rest of the article? Read page 215 in “Reading Games” for more
information on the title. Also, don’t forget to include at least one quote from the journal article (i.e.,
refer to specific words from the title), and include no more than one quote from “Reading Games.”
The second body paragraph should answer this question: How does the information from the section
headings help the reader understand the article? Read pages 217 in “Reading Games” for more
information. Also, don’t forget to include a quote from both “Reading Games” and the journal article.”
The third body paragraph should answer this question: What information does the conclusion provide
to help the reader with understanding the rest of the article?
Note: If you do NOT want to write about the conclusion, you can write about one of the other areas
(i.e., the abstract, the title, section headings, or introduction) that you have not written about in a
previous discussion. Also, the conclusion is referred to as Discussion in some articles. Read pages 217

• 218 in “Reading Games” for more information about the conclusion. Also, don’t forget to include a

Rhetorical Reading

It is not difficult to see the significance of reading in our daily lives. It is because through reading, we can acquire information, learn to communicate or relax and also get mentally motivation and inspiration based upon the content of the text. It is quite common and common, particularly for students who read scholarly pieces. The reason for this may result from the complexity of texts or the inability to appeal of a text reader or the inability of a student to grasp the content, or a lack of motivation for the reader to read. Reading rhetorically is essential to overcoming these frustrations since it gives an array of specially designed methods designed to assist readers in understanding the way texts function, and specifically the scholarly ones articles. This allows students to participate deeper and more fully with the reading process with a more attentive approach. This article focuses on the key strategies of rhetorical reading that are discussed in the work of Karen Rosenberg in the essay Reading Games: Strategies for Reading Scholarly Sources (213-218). The analysis is further enhanced by drawing comparisons and references to a paper in the journal called “Is Pet Health Insurance can improve Veterinarian Care? What is the reason? Pet Health Insurance for Dogs and Cats isn’t without limits A Moral Perspective about Pet Health Insurance by Becker, Volk and Kunzmann (1-10).
