In their most basic form the majority of scripting languages can be classified in the category of programming languages. The scripting languages, on the contrary, don’t require the compilation process because they are rather interpreted. This is the main difference of the two. For instance, a programmer written in C must be compiled before it can run, however, a program written in scripting languages such as JavaScript or PHP generally does not have to be compile prior to execution (Hussain Khan and Khan (2018)). While Python is able to be written as a compiled version however, the possibility that a language could be interpreted doesn’t necessarily mean that it is scripting language. It is also a normal Python is able to interpret the binary code which comes from the compiled Python code exactly the same way that Java does (Hussain Khan and Khan (2018)). Because of the long-standing confusion regarding how to distinguish between scripting and general purpose language programming, Python is categorized as a scripting language. In reality, Python is not a scripting language, but rather a general-purpose programming language which is quite effective when used in the context of scripting. Cont…
