   your project proposal.

I chose to use the Agile method for my proposal. I selected the Agile method because it’s an application of software development that is based on an iterative and sequential approach. Instead of extensive planning before the beginning of an initiative it is an approach that allows for a more fluid and efficient development process. Agile approach is adaptable to changing needs in the course of time, provides ongoing feedback from the end-user and is dependent on the customer or corporate value (Eby 2017). The agile method also promotes collaboration transparency, openness, and one-on one communication. These are important because both the developers and stakeholders have to collaborate to align the product’s requirements with those of consumers and corporate goals.

According to the Eby’s (2017) report, the Agile methodology is characterized by a development process that includes six phases. The first is planning. It involves the process of brainstorming a viable and solid idea, breaking it into smaller, workable components, and then assigning the idea to iteration. The second stage needs analysis, which involves meetings with executives, shareholders and the users to identify the requirements of the business. Once the requirements are determined, the process of creating the system or software and preparing a test strategy are the next steps. Following that, the next stage is execution, coding or the development of software. Following that, tests are performed after the coding has been completed to ensure that user requirements are being fulfilled. Finally, the finished product is then released to the users.
