Instruction: Discussion Topics

The student will be responsible for discussion topic application assignments. Each

module will include a set of discussion topics relevant to the readings of that module.

These discussion assignments are intended to provide the opportunity for the student to

demonstrate understanding through application to key organizational theory topics. The

responses to the discussion’s topics must incorporate the theories, concepts,

frameworks, and terms presented in the required module readings. All points of view

must be substantiated through citations from the reference (course textbook). The

response should be1,000 – 1,500 words. The paper format will follow the APA writing

guidelines, meaning title page, citations, and reference page. The assignment will be

submitted as an upload to Blackboard in MS Word format. 1.5 spacing, 11 pt., Times

New Roman or Arial font required. Late assignments will have a 5-point duction for

every day late and assignments later than three (3) days will not be accepted.

Questions 1. In what ways can organizational culture increase organizational effectiveness? Why is it important to obtain the right fit between organizational structure and culture?
