The 10-year plan of the United States to address our biggest public health issues and priorities is known as Healthy People 2030. The first Healthy People 10 year goals was released in 1981 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). This fifth version of the Healthy People initiative is called Healthy People 2030. The health issues that are important to the public can be addressed by individuals who are groups, communities, or individuals committed to improving overall health and well-being (Santana and al. 2020). Many quantifiable goals are listed within Healthy People 2030, along with targets for the nation which are difficult but doable. The tools available to aid in the achievement of goals are tied to targets. The experiences and lessons learned from previous iterations Healthy People initiative were considered in the development of Healthy People 2030. The guidelines and goals of Healthy People 2030 were created by experts in diverse disciplines, and the individuals from different industries shared their views through public remarks (Giroir 2021, 2021). Cont…
