Google is worried about being required to join the world of military technology. Be concerned about the potential for Google to play a role as a war business, Google employees have declined to join the pentagon-related contract known as the project maven, which is aimed at the development of technology that could be used in battle. Google could lose the contract due to the fact that Amazon, Microsoft, and Oracle are among the most formidable competitors. The Pentagon has an ethical code that it expects the company to adhere to when utilizing its products and technologies, and any violations of this code can result in sanctions. Despite Google’s widespread fears, Joint Enterprise Defense Infrastructure (JEDI) officials have repeatedly said that integrating the different parts of the army is the primary goal (Lea 1). They’re worried of it getting into inappropriate hands. The employees are responsible to be accountable the consequences of their behavior. As they’ve been provided with rules to adhere to and follow, there is no infraction of their right to morality. They have raised concerns to the chief executive in a moral way. Defense One’s Defense One contractors provided them with a code.
