come up with a maximum capacity for the human race. What do you think the limiting factors
are? (Food, water, cost of living, etc) I want you to make predictions about the future.
What is the global population in 10 years? What is the global Population in 25 Years? What is
the global population in 50 years? What is the global Population in 100 Years? What is the
global population in 250 years? What is the global Population in 500 Years? What is the global
population in 1,000 years? What is the global Population in 2,000 Years? These are just some of
the items you are going to think about.
I want you to explain your math and reasoning behind these answers.
How does colonizing Mars effect these numbers? Obviously were a long time away but we are
going to get there eventually.
The current Global growth rate is around 0.83%, and the growth of the United States is 0.4%
so your estimations should be going up for many years in the future 50-75 Years.
This should be a decently long paper, you will have a long time to work on it so I expect it to be
your best project yet. I want you to put on your thinking cap and really dive into the data and
come up with some of your own thoughts and analysis. I will produce worksheets a long the
way to help guide you. This should be a well done paper with some good analysis of data.
