An officer should be given a certain time the longer they work outside of their normal shift. This allows officers to take one or two personal days to recoup from overworking. Even though the job is to serve and protect an officer signed up for this responsibility they’re still human and still need debridementLastly, I feel those police officers should consistently have a system to eliminate the bad cops who are in the department. Those are the people who give a bad image to the rest of the officers throughout the world. People are very opinionated on how they feel about officers in general when their opinions are based on what they see on social media which are only bad cops
