The practice of looking ahead and anticipating outcomes and concerns that might be compared with an organization’s or department’s view is known as strategic planning. (Kent, Ramsden & Wood, 1996). Habitat for Humanity International, also known as Habitat for Humanity or simply Habitat for Humanity, is the organization I chose to review. Founded in 1976, Habitat for Humanity is a not-for-profit, ecumenical Christian ministry that builds with and for the needy. The organization does not care about race, ethnicity or religion. They welcome volunteers from all walks of life, races and creeds. They have approximately 1,400 affiliates in the United States and 70 national organizations worldwide. Today, they have helped 6.8 million people improve their living conditions.
