Anu Ziggurat and White Temple vs. The Great Pyramids

Anu Ziggurat and White Temple have similar and distinct artistic works, meanings and significance. One of the biggest similarities between them was their significance in the context of religion. Both were temples of religious significance that served as cultural centers. place within both societies. Ziggurats were constructed for the people of the religion in Mesopotamia and pyramids were built for Pharaohs as well as various other Egyptian rulers. Another similarity was the design of the structures because they were both made by highly skilled and skilled artists. Additionally, both works include stairs and elevations that connect the people with their gods of the heavens with regard to the sense of cultural and religious significance. In contrast, Ziggurat has elevations that link people to heaven, the pyramids also have steps which connect the people to their gods. In both instances the motives behind elevation were identical, which indicates similarities in the style and the purpose behind the works. There are some distinctions between the two works which include the presence of a temple on the highest point of Anu Ziggurat, while pyramids don’t have one. The pyramids also had locations for gatherings as temples, while Ziggurats had dedicated temples.
